Booking Policy
1. General Booking Terms
All hostel bookings are subject to availability.
Users must provide
accurate and complete
personal details while making a booking.
BookMyHostel serves as a
facilitator
between users and hostels; all accommodation-related policies are determined by the hostel providers.
2. Booking Process
Users must select a hostel, review details, and confirm availability before proceeding with payment.
Upon successful booking, a confirmation email/SMS will be sent with booking details.
Hostel check-in and check-out policies may vary and are mentioned in the hostel listing.
3. Payment Policy
Full or partial payment may be required at the time of booking.
Payments can be made via
UPI, credit/debit cards, net banking, or other approved methods
.
BookMyHostel does not store payment details; transactions are securely processed through third-party gateways.
Additional taxes and service charges (if applicable) will be disclosed before finalizing the booking.
4. Cancellation & Refund Policy
Cancellation policies vary per hostel; users must check hostel-specific cancellation terms before booking.
Refunds (if applicable) will be processed as per the respective hostel’s policy.
BookMyHostel does not directly handle refunds; users must contact the hostel provider for cancellation and refund requests.
Refunds, if eligible, will be credited to the original payment method within
7-14 business days

5. Modification & Rescheduling
Modifications to existing bookings (such as date changes) depend on
hostel availability
and may incur additional charges.
Rescheduling requests should be made at least
48 hours prior
to check-in.
6. No-Show Policy
If a guest does not check in on the scheduled date without prior notice, the booking may be
canceled without a refund
.
Any modifications post no-show are subject to the hostel provider’s discretion.
7. Hostel Rules & Regulations
Guests must adhere to the
hostel’s rules and regulations
during their stay.
Any violations (e.g., property damage, misconduct) may lead to
penalties, eviction, or legal action

BookMyHostel is not responsible for any disputes arising from hostel rule violations.
8. Liability Disclaimer
BookMyHostel acts only as a
booking platform
and is not responsible for the
quality of accommodation, hostel services, or disputes
between users and hostels.
We do not guarantee refunds or compensation for dissatisfaction with hostel facilities.
9. Changes to Booking Policy
BookMyHostel reserves the right to update or modify this Booking Policy at any time.
Users will be notified of significant changes via email or platform notifications.
