1. Scope
- This policy applies to all bookings, rent payments, deposits, and transactions made via the BookMyHostel Platform.
- BookMyHostel acts only as a technology facilitator between Users and Hostel Partners.
2. Cancellation by Users
- Refund eligibility depends on the Hostel Partner’s policy.
- 7 days before check-in: Up to 100% refund (excluding convenience fees).
- Within 7 days: Partial refund (as per Hostel policy).
- No-show or same-day cancellation: No refund.
3. Cancellation by Hostel Partners
- Full 100% refund if a confirmed booking is cancelled by a Hostel Partner.
- Alternative accommodation may be offered to the User.
4. Rent Payments
- Rent once paid is non-refundable except for duplicate transactions or technical errors.
5. Security Deposits
- Security deposit refunds are governed by Hostel Partner’s policy.
- BookMyHostel is not liable for deductions or disputes regarding deposits.
6. Refund Process & Timeline
- Refunds processed within 7–10 business days.
- Refunds via original mode of payment.
- Delays caused by banks or payment gateways are outside our control.
7. Non-Refundable Fees
- Convenience fees, service charges, and applicable GST are non-refundable.
8. Force Majeure
- No refunds for cancellations due to natural calamities, strikes, or government restrictions unless Hostel Partner agrees.
9. Dispute Resolution
- Users may raise disputes via App/Website support.
- BookMyHostel may mediate but final liability rests with Hostel Partner.
